Volunteers for the Café Blattgold

Café Blattgold is a very special meeting place. In addition to delicious coffee, cakes and snacks as well as offers from the bookshop (books, ordering service, gifts, GEPA products), people are invited to come and talk to each other here.

Activity: As a welcoming host, you prepare coffee or tea and serve food. You will sell books from the bookshop's range. At the same time, you will also listen to the stories and concerns of our guests and treat them with appreciation.

Requirements: For this voluntary position, you must be at least 18 years old and speak fluent German. As you will be working with food, you will also need a so-called Red Card from the public health department. There are no costs for this.

What we are looking for: You have a friendly, open nature and love contact with people. You like to listen and are willing to talk. You enjoy working with very different groups of people, like getting to know new people and show a genuine interest in others. You enjoy working as part of a team with full-time staff and other volunteers.

Time commitment: If possible 5 hours per shift, we would like a regular commitment once a week (half shifts are also possible by arrangement).

When: Tuesday-Thursday from 12.00 am - 5.00 pm (Café opening hours: 12.30 am - 4.30 pm)
