About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for volunteers who want to become mentors.
A mentorship is a relationship between two people. In the ideal case, a trusting and reliable friendship develops between the mentor and the mentee. The focus is always on an appreciative and trusting relationship and a supportive transfer of knowledge. Each mentorship is different and can be very diverse. You decide together with your mentee where you want to go and how you want to achieve this. In addition, you have the possibility of having monthly costs reimbursed by us up to a certain financial amount.
Your Tasks
The concrete form of a mentorship depends on the needs of the mentee and the possibilities of the mentor. Examples of mentorships can be
- Language tandems
- Support at school
- Support in the transition from school to work or training
- cultural exchange
- Sports, games and leisure activities
What's needed
Your personal interests, talents and life experiences are in demand! You are not required to have any particular qualifications or degrees.
Time required
Important notice
We regularly organise free and non-binding training courses and workshops to support you as mentors.
Where?
This project is location independent.
