Garden maintenance in the AWO Ortsverein Porz

Groups of the SeniorenNetzwerk Köln Porz meet regularly at the AWO Ortsverein Porz. We use the premises and the garden.

Your Tasks

We are looking for a volunteer who enjoys gardening to maintain the lawn and prune shrubs. Seasonally from April to October every 3 weeks for about 1 - 2 hours.

What's needed

- Age: without restriction

- Pleasure in working in the green

- Empathy

Important notice

Since gardening is seasonal, there is no work in the winter. Exceptions by arrangement.

The Office for Civic Commitment of the AWO Cologne is a consulting service. People who are willing to volunteer will receive advice and will be placed in organisations that work with volunteers. Further priority will be given to LESEMENTOR Cologne, young volunteers, further education and voluntary refugee work.
