Language project - German lessons related to cultural areas

Since October 2015, the association Hamburger*mit Herz e.V. has been committed to helping refugees in Hamburg. The association maintains a network that reaches far into Hamburg society - including the Ethiopian-Eritrean community. Therefore, our offers are so far mainly visited by people from Eritrea. Of course, our projects are aimed at all refugees - no matter where they come from!

Your Tasks

We are looking for people who would like to help refugees on their way to training or finding work with the German language. Be it for beginners or advanced learners.

The learning platform is easy to learn and of course we help. A hospitation is possible at any time. The time commitment is 90 minutes per week and is not (yet) fixed to a certain time. We want to keep the group size as small as possible to guarantee a better learning progress and a certain familiarity. This also reduces the workload for the teachers.

What's needed

You don't have to be a trained teacher, but just have fun helping others. Experience in teaching German would be nice, but not necessary.
