About the volunteering opportunity
Since the beginning of the pandemic, exchanges with friends and family, further education and participation in cultural life have mostly taken place digitally.
But not everyone finds the step into the digital world with all its challenges easy.
We are looking for digital ambassadors of all ages who have patience and enjoy helping older people who have had little or no contact with digital media to overcome their fears, awaken their interest and introduce them to the advantages of tablets, smartphones and similar devices.
Your Tasks
This can be achieved, for example, through 1:1 sponsorship, small group training, smartphone and tablet meetings, digital regulars' tables or by linking up with existing offers in the area.

The Office for Civic Commitment of the AWO Cologne is a consulting service. People who are willing to volunteer will receive advice and will be placed in organisations that work with volunteers. Further priority will be given to LESEMENTOR Cologne, young volunteers, further education and voluntary refugee work.
