About the volunteering opportunity

The sponsors in the districts of Innenstadt, Ehrenfeld, Weidenpesch, Niehl and Flittard are planning a project to introduce senior citizens to the digital world. In individual contact, the most important things in dealing with the smartphone, the computer or the tablet are explained.

Many seniors are unsure about using their digital devices and often lack a direct contact person to ask questions and solve problems. However, the interest in dealing with the digital possibilities has also grown in the older population. Last but not least, the pandemic has shown us how important it is to bring senior citizens closer to digital possibilities and to use them.
