About the volunteering opportunity
The PETA volunteer street team stands up for the animals that suffer in stables, fur farms, animal testing laboratories and many other places for our consumption with information stands and street campaigns. Support is always welcome - for a few actions or as a permanent member of our street team. Just write to us and get information about the next upcoming actions and how to contact the group. We look forward to seeing you!
Your Tasks
There are many ways to get involved in a demonstration or an information stand - whether by talking to passers-by, holding a sign or wearing a costume, as a coordinator or media contact. All actions of the PETA volunteer street teams are coordinated by a volunteer on site, who takes care of registration and management - you can approach them with any questions that arise
What's needed
All animal lovers are welcome - demo experience or prior knowledge is not required.
Time required
Important notice
Our campaigns attract a lot of publicity and the press is often there to report on them. Reliability is therefore very important; anyone who registers should also be able to provide support on site. Experienced volunteer street team leaders coordinate the campaign on site, they are the contact persons for all questions and also support new participants
Where?
PETA
Our voluntary PETA TWO-Streetteams are out on the streets nationwide for animal rights - and you can easily join them: Sign up via Facebook to a streetteam in your area and you will be informed when the next meeting takes place or when you can help out at an information table.
