AbenteuerWelt is a young non-profit social enterprise from Langen (between Frankfurt am Main and Darmstadt).
Our aim is to enable children and adults to experience nature and to let them experience the holistic connections of our nature and society in a playful way. The focus is on action and experience-oriented activities on the subject of nature and environmental protection.
Our activities take place in nature (especially in the forest) and create, through an innovative concept, an awareness of ecological, economic and social challenges and the corresponding possibilities for action. Through this the participants experience the effectiveness of their own actions.
Our educational projects are based on the concept of 'Education for Sustainable Development' (UNESCO World Action Programme) in the sense of the Agenda 21 of the United Nations.
