Language tandem and sponsorship for adult refugees

Many of our residents are looking for people with whom they can speak German in order to advance their language skills.

For this purpose, we are looking for people who have a short-term or long-term desire to date one! or more people.

The form of the relationship that develops is entirely individual. For example, you can meet once a week to teach each other your mother tongue. Another possibility is to help each other with homework.

It is also possible to go on excursions or walks together, etc.
In addition, common rooms and the outdoor area of the accommodation can be used.

The time commitment and time allocation per week is flexible.

We are committed to volunteering in Lichtenberg, which includes :

- matching between volunteers and non-profit organisations

- advising organisations or civil movements working with volunteers

- in general, everything that is necessary on a structural level so that volunteering in Lichtenberg can develop fully
