About the volunteering opportunity
We are currently in the process of designing a project to promote the participation of people with disabilities in the digital space. For this purpose, some residential groups will first be equipped with digital devices. At the beginning, there will be a training for all interested employees, residents and volunteers. Afterwards, you will be available as a digital mentor to accompany individual residents with their questions.
Your Tasks
On site, you are the contact person for residents and support them in the use of digital devices. You are available for questions and make your knowledge available.
What's needed
You have basic knowledge of using a smartphone or tablet and are ready to engage in direct contact with people with different intellectual disabilities.
Time required
The amount of time and the days of the week can be determined by individual agreement. After the first training course, accompaniment is initially planned for 6 months. After this period, an extension is possible, but not mandatory.
