About the volunteering opportunity
The Fachpraktiker is a training program for young people with learning difficulties. Through job coaching during the training and in the first years of employment, the participants* are individually accompanied and supported.
Your Tasks
A former trainee who has now started training to become a nursing assistant is looking for someone to help her study and prepare for exams.
What's needed
Good knowledge in the field of nursing is necessary, ideally even a nursing education of their own and good knowledge of relevant training content.
Patience, desire to work with a motivated young woman, and a little skill in conveying and explaining training content.
Time required
Due to the training times of the trainees, the tutoring can only take place in the afternoon.
Important notice
The colleague, who has known the trainee for a long time and accompanied her during her first training, supports the volunteer with the tutoring and is available for a regular exchange.

For 120 years IN VIA has been accompanying especially young people on their way to independence. This includes projects for counselling, career orientation, vocational preparation, apprenticeship, assistance during apprenticeship, counselling for refugees, shared accommodation for teenagers, Bahnhofsmission, bicycle stations at the main railway station and bicycle workshops at Bahnhof Süd. Also all day supervision in primary schools, supervision in Sek I schools, school social work and mobile art workshop with fugitives.
