Project: Building and launching the ethical pan-African cooperative Maat Cooperative Africa (MacoopA). MacoopA is a cooperative for African people, people of African origin and allies of Africa in general. MacoopA aims to activate the entrepreneurial potential of people of African origin in Africa and the African Diaspora in Europe, and to encourage them to start businesses in the field in which they see their talent and/or have gained experience.
What is special about this project is that it is about ethical entrepreneurship in the sense of a socio-ecological orientation (common good economy). With the current challenges on the planet, we cannot only demand socio-ecological responsibility from the big companies. Every entrepreneur, no matter if big or small, needs a method and instruments that help him to meet this responsibility. Thus, in Africa and in Europe, a cosmos of socio-ecologically committed companies from all sectors is to be created, a network within which solidarity, cooperation and joint success.
The following services are to be made available to the enterprises:
- Financial services;
- Crowdfunding;
- Educational formats and coaching;
- An online market.
Administrative-organizational activities from home:
- Telephone calls within Germany
- Collaboration in the development of concepts
- Proofreading of texts
- Carrying out coorections on the website.
- German language, business fluent. English, French would be a PLUS
- Confident with computer, e-mail correspondence, office, social media and video conferencing
You can organise your time freely, as we work remotely. About once a week or once every two weeks there will be a video conference via teams. It would be great if you could participate. The conference lasts 90 minutes.
We are building an ethical cooperative and therefore commit ourselves to high ethical standards. We attach importance to honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, appreciation in dealing with each other and discretion about the internals of our project towards project strangers.
This project is location independent.
Promoting ethical entrepreneurship in Africa and in the African Diaspora in Europe, starting with Germany. We do this through educational work and through concrete entrepreneurial and non-profit projects in Germany and in Africa.
