We all know it: Since the beginning of the pandemic, exchanges with friends and family, further education, and participation in cultural life have mostly taken place digitally.
But not everyone finds it easy to take the step into the digital world with all its challenges.
With the "Digital ganz einfach!" project, which is funded by the NRW Welfare Foundation, we want to enable people aged 50 and over, as well as senior citizens, to access this world with as few barriers as possible, and thus to participate digitally.
We are looking for digital ambassadors of all ages who have patience and enjoy taking away the fears of older people who have had little or no contact with digital media, arousing their interest and introducing them to the advantages of tablets, smartphones and the like.
This can be achieved, for example, through 1:1 sponsorship, small group training, smartphone and tablet meetings, digital regulars' tables or by linking up with existing offers in the area.
You feel addressed? We look forward to hearing from you!
