About the volunteering opportunity

We are the "Volunteering for ALL" working group in Cologne. We are committed to ensuring that people with disabilities can get involved in our city - in voluntary work, projects or campaigns. It is important to us that everyone can take part if they want to. To achieve this, we want to break down barriers - whether they are physical, linguistic or in people's minds.

We believe that everyone has something to contribute. Involvement by people with disabilities should be a matter of course in Cologne. It should be seen, appreciated and perceived as an enrichment for our society.

We work together and with a lot of heart. We listen to each other, contribute our ideas and boldly break new ground. We want everyone to feel welcome, to learn from each other and to strengthen each other. Our goal is a city in which diversity is completely normal - including in voluntary work.

Our group consists of volunteers and full-time employees (both with and without disabilities), representatives of the City of Cologne, inclusive associations, inclusive advice centers and the Office of the Disability Commissioner of the City of Cologne.
