About the volunteering opportunity

At the Kitchen Friends, people with and without migration experience meet to cook, chat and eat together. The goal is to bring together old and new residents of Cologne and to create encounters at eye level. At each meeting there is a "chef" who brings a recipe. Everyone else helps out. Afterwards, the delicacies from all over the world are eaten together in a cozy atmosphere.
All are welcome at the Kitchen Friends: New and old Cologne*innen, men, women, old and young.

Your Tasks

The volunteers are to take over the following tasks:
- Cooking together with the participants*, eating and cleaning up afterwards.
- Encouraging the participants* to speak German.
- Welcoming new participants* and integrating them into the group.
