About the volunteering opportunity
We believe in a world without new plastic. Through recycling workshops, we enable a conscious & sustainable use of plastic.
We regularly give workshops for school classes, mostly at the Mierendorff Youth Art School. The workshops are conceptualized and tested, so we need support especially in the implementation (because fortunately we get more and more requests :) ) Of course, we are also happy to receive feedback on the content, but this is not a must!
The workshops deal with the topic of plastic waste avoidance and recycling and are structured as follows: We look at the household waste we have brought with us, learn about the different types of plastic, shred them and melt them down into new, useful products. Finally, we reflect on how plastic can be avoided in everyday life.
Your Tasks
Your task will be to support us in the implementation of the workshops. No previous knowledge is necessary, you should just enjoy working with children.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
You don't need any special qualifications, but you should enjoy working with children. If you have a driver's license, we would be even happier.

The workshops usually last 4 hours, if necessary with construction and dismantling time (for this we can still coordinate).
