About the volunteering opportunity
Our network offers you various opportunities to get in touch with each other and become active for Data4Good. Become a part of our network. Volunteers work in projects where they help nonprofits make sense of their own data: Data Analytics for Nonprofits.
Your Tasks
Volunteers work in projects in which they support non-profit organisations in making sense of their own data.
The goals of this data preparation and visualization of the data are rooted in the respective needs of the organisation.
Practical examples:
Weltladen Dachverband: Automated report generation to improve the work of world shops
Erlassjahr e.V.: Interactive dashboard for better presentation of debt data
European Yout-Parliament: Vivid preparation of surveys on participant structure and impact of events
What's needed
Engagement is primarily online/digital, supplemented by local groups that meet regularly (optional). Own computer and internet access is required. Certain affinity and prior knowledge of digital working and collaborating online is required. Knowledge of English is an advantage (communication mixed German/English). But in principle we are open to everyone who likes the idea of data analysis for a good cause.
