Spend time with older people at the Seniorenzentrum Mittenwalde

Our senior center Mittenwalde offers place for 60 persons on two floors as well as three further buildings offering 34 senior appropiate apartments. The facility, which was only completed in 2013, is located in the middle of the historic city center of the stork city Mittenwalde.

Due to the currently again aggravated pandemic situation in view of Omikron, we are happy about volunteers that support us in the house.

Our residents are happy about individual attention. Whether it is a conversation over coffee, a walk or playing board games or making music together - as diverse as the people are, so are the possibilities.

Activity: Depending on the needs and wishes of the residents you spend a few hours together in 1:1 contact and thus ensure a varied and beneficial time.

What we want: We are looking for friendly and empathetic volunteers who can adjust to the needs of our elderly residents and enjoy spending time with them.

Requirements: You have a good knowledge of the German language. You have a proven record of vaccination against Corona or have recovered from the disease. In addition, you are willing to be tested before each of your assignments with us in the house. There is no cost to you for this.

When: by arrangement Mon-Fri and also gladly on weekends
