Easter mail: Letters against loneliness for seniors in nursing homes and residences

Since the intergenerational exchange is very important to us and we want to support residents in nursing homes, we are starting another letter collection.

Our goal is to make the seniors happy on Easter and show that they are on our minds.

Help us fight loneliness in our society!

We are grateful for every Easter card, every poem and every short text - simply everything that makes the time a little more varied for our seniors and shows that we are thinking of them.

How many pictures/cards/letters you write is entirely up to you. We are happy about every single one.

Let your creativity run wild!

If you want to write cards, you are welcome to create short greeting cards, e.g. with a nice poem/song text and a nice greeting "I think of you/stay healthy/love greetings from Berlin" etc. or you can - if you like - tell about yourself and your everyday life/a holiday/a story. The residents are also happy about different new insights into other lives. There is also the possibility to note your sender if you are interested in a pen pal. Maybe something will come back! It's a great way to get insights into another life.

Put everything in an envelope and send it to us so that we can forward it to the nursing homes.

If you know of any nursing homes that would appreciate Easter mail - feel free to contact us!

You need some time and creativity (but that's optional too :D) and the desire to help other people.

You also need an envelope and a stamp to send us your Easter mail.

If you don't have a stamp at home, you can buy an online stamp (you need a printer for that) or a mobile stamp.
