Digital buddy for workshops in the Business Lab

The Business Lab by SINGA is an online entrepreneurship program for people who are new to Germany, and would like to be accompanied on the path to professional independence through coaching, mentoring and application-oriented workshops.

For this program we are looking for buddies for the different online workshops.

Together with us and our corporate partners you will get to know the participants of the Business Lab by SINGA and exciting entrepreneurship methods. All you need to bring is interest in the topic and your creativity!

As Buddy you support the participants in the processing of questions and tasks during the workshops.

In addition, you also have the opportunity to become a mentor. As a mentor you will provide 1:1 support to a participant outside of the workshops.

• Learn new entrepreneurial perspectives, be inspired by different cultures, and create new interpersonal connections

What's needed

We are especially looking for people from the Karlsruhe-Stuttgart region, but the workshops will take place online and you can participate from anywhere in Germany.

Time required

You choose for yourself which workshops you would like to attend. The workshops take place either Thursdays from 5 to 8 p.m. or Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. statt. The dates will be communicated to you after your registration.

The program lasts approximately 3 months.

Important notice

The topics of the workshops are the following:

• Idea lab: In the idea lab you get to know the motivated participants and their business ideas. You will work out together who potential customers are, what their needs are and what resources the participants need to implement their business idea.
• Business Model: The focus of this workshop is to work out potential business models with the participants and how they can test them as quickly and "leanly" as possible. Keywords: customer benefits, critical assumptions, planning customer interviews and prototype tests.
• Search and find: Searching and finding the right contacts and channels for your own business idea, as well as preparing and conducting interviews and conversations are the topic of this workshop and are worked out individually with the participants. 
• Storytelling: The workshop is about arousing emotions! With your support, the participants in the "Storytelling" workshop will work out how they can communicate their business ideas so that they arouse enthusiasm in the counterpart and remain in memory.
• Marketing and Branding: In the workshop, we deal with how and what the entrepreneurs want to communicate to whom to make their business ideas visible and accessible to their target groups. The participants develop thereby together with you, as Buddies, concrete first drafts for communication means and measures.
• Financial planning: In this workshop it goes to the numbers to the business idea. You will work together with the participants on the initial preparation of a financial plan. In addition to living expenses and operating costs, possible income and sources of funding are discussed and recorded with the help of examples and templates.
• Pitch Training: In this workshop, it is important to bring the worked out and learned so far by the entrepreneurs, with your support, to the point. In the Pitch Workshop, you will work with participants on presenting and communicating the story & vision of their business idea. 
• Presentation & Slide Design: In the workshop, we will look at how the entrepreneurs can support their pitch ideas with the most powerful slides possible.

You can attend one workshop or more.
