About the volunteering opportunity
Together we clean up and make sure that waste does not pollute our waters and seas and thus become a threat to animals, nature and the environment.
We bring everything you need for a cleanup. Equipped with gloves, grabbers, buckets and bin bags, we are ready to get to work with you.
All you need to bring is a good dose of motivation, a good mood and suitable clothing for the weather.

Your Tasks
Cleanup on the banks of the Rhine. Collect trash together and prevent it from becoming part of the global plastic tide in the oceans via the Rhine!
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
You do not need any special skills to participate in the event. You will receive gloves, garbage bags and grabbers at our material distribution. You can return them there after use. The filled garbage bags and other garbage we also collect there.

We ask participants not to climb on steep embankments or on stones directly on the water, as there is a risk of injury from slippery stones.

At least once a month, we organize two-hour cleanups for volunteers at various locations on the banks of the Rhine in Düsseldorf. We have old coffee sacks for collecting garbage, containers for separating recyclable material, gloves and grabs on site - and a good mood anyway!
Everyone is welcome to join in and experience how much fun it is to tackle things together and make the world a little better with your own hands!
