Create a meeting place for local and refugee women in the international women's café

Welcome to our intercultural women's café. A meeting place for local and refugee women. We talk, play, eat, dance, network, etc.. In parallel, our women's boxing starts at 6:30 pm. You can just drop in without any obligation. To keep a safe place, we are looking for female volunteers only.

Your Tasks

You can help us cut vegetables, talk to our women (the opportunity to speak German and meet locals is unfortunately not given too often in normal everyday life), play with the children, help us clean up, etc.. Together we play games like memory or do handicrafts. And if we feel like it, we also dance a round! Always according to the motto: everything can, nothing has to :-)

What's needed

You should be open to other cultures and be aware of your surroundings and society. We want to create a protected space for all women where they can develop freely.

What to bring

You don't have to bring anything! Food and drink is on site and free of charge.

Please note, that we are only looking for female volunteers.

JUNO - a voice for refugee women empowers refugee women to lead a self-determined life in Germany. In the regular women's café we bring refugee women together with Munich women in mentorships, cook together, dance or organise art workshops.
