About the volunteering opportunity
The electronics industry generates a huge amount of negative externalities, from the mines to the products' end-of-life.
Commown is a not-for-profit cooperative that supports fair and sustainable electronics by renting out devices designed to be repaired and to last longer. We only rent out ‘sustainable’ electronic devices like Fairphones and manage repairs beyond the manufacturer warranty. In doing so, we expand the lifespan, reduce material waste, and offer a cost-effective option for smartphones and other consumer electronics like headsets and computers.
Currently, we are new on the German market and need your help!

Your Tasks
Become our ambassador, and help us to promote a more sustainable way to deal with our electronic devices through concrete actions (promotion on markets, flyering, organize events).
What's needed
Just yourself! No high-level German language skills are needed.
Time required
The first introduction meeting will be on monday 27th of June at 18.30 in Kreuzberg, Berlin. We will provide vegan snacks and talk about Commown and future volunteering opportunities.
After this date, it is flexible! Depending on what fits best for both (preferably once a month, once in three months also possible).
If you cannot make it the 27th, still contact us and we can meet seperately for the introduction.
