About the volunteering opportunity
Café International is a place for refugees and all neighbors who value and want to promote intercultural exchange.
Here you can enjoy a quiet cup of tea or coffee and get to know other people. The café is also a good first step to find out about our network and our services. Children and their parents are very welcome. We have a table football table, a table tennis table and a billiard room.

Your Tasks
We are looking for supporters for our counter service and for looking after visitors. Every 4-5 weeks or more often, you can take over a counter service and support the café together with other neighbors. A "shift" as a helper lasts from 2.30 pm - 5.30 pm.
We also welcome cake donations and interested Cologne residents who come to visit the café.

The Office for Civic Commitment of the AWO Cologne is a consulting service. People who are willing to volunteer will receive advice and will be placed in organisations that work with volunteers. Further priority will be given to LESEMENTOR Cologne, young volunteers, further education and voluntary refugee work.
