The Munich Water Rescue is active in the water rescue service and disaster control. In addition, the water rescue is committed to the preservation of the environment and teaches children, young people and adults in swimming or lifeguarding.
Freeing handles, first aid, resuscitation methods - all this is learned in addition to the most important swimming techniques with the water rescue, to be able to save as a lifeguard lives. With the training to become a junior water rescuer, Munich Water Rescue also offers young members intensive training in all areas of water rescue. The focus is on the fun of swimming and an interest in the medical field.
A start is possible at any time. We take care of your training. So you can also make the boat license with us or complete a diver training.
The members of the water rescue work in their spare time voluntarily on the following waters:
How much time you give to the Wasserwacht, depends of course on your possibilities and takes place in consultation with the respective local group.
We are there where other people need help!
The Red Cross rescues people, helps in emergencies, provides a community, stands by socially disadvantaged people and watches over international humanitarian law - in Germany and around the world.
The BRK-Kreisverband München works in this sense and is there where other people need help and support.
