About the volunteering opportunity
Support of the full-time staff in the care and counseling of members and course participants and interested parties, as well as to provide initial information about assistance offers of the Rheuma League Berlin e.V.
Your Tasks
- Support of the full-time staff and assistance in organizational and administrative tasks
- Counseling activity, also on the phone, for people with chronic diseases
- Advice and mediation of initial information about help offers of the Rheuma League Berlin e.V.
- Computer and office work
- Contact person of members and course participants and interested people around the association activities
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
You have a friendly open manner, like to work with people and are communicative? You are interested in new tasks and like to work independently? You have experience in advisory activities or flexibility regarding diverse conversation situations? You have a secure handling of computers in a network or the willingness to familiarize yourself with new computer software with training? Maybe you have additional foreign language skills? This would be desirable, but not a condition!

Time required
Member Service is offered every week Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Assignment opportunities will be discussed on an individual basis depending on personal interests.

"Rheumatism" is a serious form of disease in many facets. In Germany, almost 17 million people suffer from a rheumatic disease.
Everyone can be affected: from children, to teenagers to younger or older adults.
As a registered association "German Rheumatism League Berlin", we offer those affected help to help themselves. At the center of our work are the four actions: movement, advice, meeting and accompaniment. We support, advise and accompany those affected with a variety of offers as close to home as possible in all districts of Berlin
