About the volunteering opportunity
Mentors are sought who will accompany a child or young person once a week for a period of one year as an educational mentor. The focus is on reading promotion, support in language acquisition as well as homework support and tutoring in the basic subjects
Your Tasks
Children and young people with a history of migration and/or flight are predominantly accompanied.
After a one-day training course, the volunteers start at a suitable facility - schools, welcome initiatives, refugee facilities or meeting places. Children and young people need support in many places.

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, intermediate German skills are required.

Further priority will be given to LESEMENTOR Cologne, young volunteers, further education and voluntary refugee work.
