Development of ideas to reach new target groups as donors / sustaining members - Cooperation in Hamburg NGOs

As a non-profit organization working in development cooperation, we at Visions for Children are significantly dependent on external financial resources. The last few years in particular have made it clear to us that incalculable events such as the Corona pandemic, the flood disaster in 2021 or the takeover of power by the Taliban last summer can have negative effects on our financing and thus our projects and the work of the association.

In order to be able to better cushion these unpredictable external influences in the future, we need a stable, more independent financing framework. Here, the Supporting memberships play a key role: Supporting memberships are our monthly, non-earmarked donation income and form the basis of our association's financing. Such fixed income helps us enormously to plan our projects sustainably and securely.

Currently, we generate new sustaining members mainly through our own channels, esp. via social media campaigns and collaborations with influencers*. Most of our supporting members are between 25 and 40 years old.

What's needed

• Experience in marketing / fundraising / sales, preferably in a creative agency
• Creativity & motivation
• Time for 2-3 hours

Time required

The time commitment is only about 2-3 hours and there is no fixed date when you collect your ideas and share them with us. :)

This project is location independent.

TheVisions for Children e.V. is a non-profit registered association from Hamburg. Our work focuses on the improvement of learning conditions and educational quality at schools in areas of conflict and war zones.
