Get involved for people in need in the Wärmestube at Bundesplatz

The Warming house of Caritas at Bundesplatz (Tübinger Str. 5) is open from Monday to Friday and allows people who are in emergency situations to eat a warm meal and spend a common afternoon once a day.

You want to support people in emergency situations, with little money or without a home?

You want to provide these people with a warm meal and a nice afternoon?

Then get involved in the Warming house of Caritas at Bundesplatz!

The house is run by volunteers, the volunteering times are to be agreed individually.

Your Tasks

Tasks are mainly the food distribution as well as a smile and open ear for the visitors.

What's needed

It would be great, if you have good interpersonal and teamwork skills, are reliable and have a desire to work in a volunteer team!

Time required

We are looking for volunteers who have the time and desire to contribute to one of the shifts Monday to Friday during opening hours from about 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm. The times can be individually agreed on with the team, the shifts can also be split.

The youngcaritas Berlin belongs to the Caritasverband für das Erzbistum Berlin e.V. and promotes young people's commitment. Our goal is to introduce young people to politically and socially "explosive" topics and to teach them a more attentive and conscious use of environmental resources, both through theoretical input and through practical implementation. The goal of youngcaritas Berlin is to win as many young people as possible for voluntary work, be it for the youngcaritas projects "Kulturbuddys", *vergissmeinnicht* or through counselling and placement in various institutions and projects.
