About the volunteering opportunity
The Caritas warming room at Bundesplatz (Tübinger Str. 5) enables people in emergency situations to have a warm meal once a day and spend an afternoon together.
In summer, this will continue in the form of "Hitzehilfe" from 1.6. to 31.8. This is open Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm.

The service is provided by volunteers, the working hours can be arranged individually and shifts can also be taken on by the hour.
Your Tasks
Tasks are mainly the food distribution as well as a smile and open ear for the visitors.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, basic German skills are required.
It would be great, if you have good interpersonal and teamwork skills, are reliable and have a desire to work in a volunteer team!

We are looking for helpers who have the time and desire to work one of the shifts from Monday to Friday (except Wednesdays) during the opening hours from around 2.00 pm to 6.30 pm. The times can be arranged individually with the team, the shifts can also be split.

The youngcaritas Berlin belongs to the Caritasverband für das Erzbistum Berlin e.V. and promotes young people's commitment. Our goal is to introduce young people to politically and socially "explosive" topics and to teach them a more attentive and conscious use of environmental resources, both through theoretical input and through practical implementation.
