About the volunteering opportunity
We - the UNICEF Group Hannover - sell our greeting cards at the Christmas market at Hannover main station. The greeting cards are sold exclusively by volunteers. The sale of the cards supports projects worldwide in the areas of health, education, nutrition and child protection. Each greeting card represents far more than just a piece of paper. It is an expression of love, compassion and support for children in need.
Your Tasks
What can you expect?
- You will take on one or more shifts at the Christmas market at Hanover Central Station in the period from 25.11.24 - 30.12.24
- You will advise customers at the stand and sell UNICEF greeting cards and calendars
- Your enthusiasm for the good cause convinces interested parties and customers
- You will get to know many like-minded people in your city and make contacts to further expand a successful network for UNICEF
Are you interested in a longer-term commitment? UNICEF will support you with advice and a varied training program that will deepen your experience and strengthen your skills.

The Christmas market at Hannover main station takes place from 25.11.24 - 30.12.24 daily from 11:00-21:00.
As a volunteer you will work at our greeting card stand in shifts of approx. 3 hours each.
