Packing minicare packages for Ukraine - supporting an aid project

Preparation, packing and shipping - the mini package is assembled at Rothenberg and prepared for the next transport to Ukraine. 

Thanks to many donations we have a lot of empty first aid kits and condensed milk. Since we want to use everything as good as possible and send it to Ukraine, we have thought of a small emergency supply package, so that as durable as possible, calorie and nutrient-rich food box. This should make a small contribution against malnutrition, as well as be a sign of our solidarity from Kassel.

What is the MiniCare package?

We have come up with a small emergency care package with non-perishable food for quick distribution in Ukraine:

Oatmeal, condensed milk and food containing vitamins always go into small boxes* as a basis.
These are then filled up with other donations to create a food box that is as calorie- and nutrient-rich as possible.

A MiniCare package is intended to make a small contribution against malnutrition as well as to be a sign of our solidarity from Kassel.

*The boxes were old first aid kits. Their contents were donated and packed differently.

Your Tasks

• Support with advertising and administration (also in our digital back office) or
• Participation in the packing action at Rothenberg with a small working group
• Call for collections and donations in your circle of friends, your church community, at schools and in groups. You can find our request for donations in kind for this here.

What's needed

Be part of this initiativ. Our Ukraine Help at Rothenberg is challenged for many weeks and months and would like to help.

Important notice

The following food items are collected for the campaign: oatmeal 500g, condensed milk tetrapak, small flat fish cans, vitamin effervescent tablets, vitamin candies, mixed nuts (a 200g), nutrient-rich fruit, cereal, oat and protein bars, dried fruit in flexible bags(a 200-250g) - and metal teaspoons.
