About the volunteering opportunity
The project aims to support and strengthen refugee women and girls to arrive and actively participate in social life in the Münstertal. For this purpose, a regularly held Women's Café was established, which serves as an open meeting and exchange space. Everything can be discussed, the helpers take care of the framework and accompany the exchange.
The supporters consists of volunteers who have joined forces in the course of the increased number of refugees to support them with their arrival in Münstertal. The Münstertal Integration Service sees itself as a bridge builder between different social groups and thus contributes to strengthening cohesion in society. In Münstertal, one of the most successful and regular projects is the Women's Café. Numerous projects have developed from these, such as meeting offers, homework help, language tandems and joint leisure activities.
