We support with the arrival in the Münstertal! Accompanying refugees in the Münstertal.

The integration service of the Malteser Hilfsdienst in Münstertal sees itself as a bridge builder between different social groups and accompanies the volunteers in the implementation of very different offers. In the Münstertal, these have so far included the regular Women's Café as well as the Men's Meeting. From these, numerous projects have developed such as Meeting offers, Homework help, Language tandems and joint Leisure activities. 

We are also looking for someone who can help us to draw attention to our events via social media, invite young people or even take pictures of events. 

Your Tasks

For example, a hike through the Black Forest can be organized or a walk through the Münstertal to give the refugees the opportunity to speak German (language tandem). 

We are also happy about own ideas and can also support as Malteser Hilfsdienst in the implementation through our network.   

The network is supported by a full-time contact person on site. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or suggestions!

What's needed

You want to present your neighborhood to refugees, are interested in tolerance, intercultural exchange and working with people? Maybe even have your own ideas? Great! - then we are looking for you! 

Time required

It would be great if you could commit about 4h per month. Alternatively, however, we are flexible and have regular actions in which with less effort can be involved. I simply report to us :-)  

In general, supporters are currently sought for rather short-term requests. A need to commit to the long term is therefore quite often not.  

Important notice

The dedicated team of volunteers on site is very experienced and has tried many things. Fresh ideas are welcome. 

The Malteser Hilfsdienst e.V. is one of the largest charitable service providers in Germany. Around 6,400 women, men, children and young people are involved in voluntary work in local and city organizations. They provide first-aid services, are active in disaster control and rescue services, and are involved in refugee aid, youth work and a wide range of services for sick, lonely and disadvantaged people.
