About the volunteering opportunity

The family centre of Jugendwohnen im Kiez - Jugendhilfe gGmbH supports all families in their different life situations and offers meeting, education and counselling. The more than 70 offers also include a clothing store. Here, families can exchange pregnant women's and children's clothes, children's shoes and toys or take them home for a small donation. The clothing store is open for up to 8 hours a day and must be sorted regularly. All donations received must be pre-sorted and put into the right cupboards.

Your Tasks

Your task is to sort donated clothing. Dirty or unusable clothing is sorted out. The "good" clothes would have to be sorted into the cupboards. Often the shelves are also very "rummaged through", here it is your task to put everything back in its place.

What's needed

For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
You should be a bit orderly :) And don't be afraid to throw away items if they are useless!

What to bring

Beverages are provided! You could bring gloves to sort out! Disposable gloves are on site.
