About the volunteering opportunity
The handicraft group in the senior center Friedrichshain offers its seniors the opportunity to knit, crochet and embroider together once a week in a cozy get-together.
Your Tasks
If you would like to get involved in a handicraft group, then your tasks will include:
- to participate once a week in this handicraft group and to lead it, i.e. to be the contact person
- to provide a friendly, good atmosphere
- to listen to the needs and questions of the seniors and, if necessary, to pass them on to the staff coordinator
What's needed
For your commitment you need:
- good knowledge of German
- good needlework skills such as knitting, crochet and embroidery
- Enjoyment, fun and interest in being with older people
Time required
Always on Tuesdays from 10 am - 11 am, starting January 2023
