About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for support for our volunteer editorial team "Spätlese". Spätlese" is a publication that appears four times a year and is primarily aimed at the residents of the Unionhilfswerk care homes, their relatives and the staff of these facilities. The "Spätlese" mainly reports on life in the care homes as well as interesting and entertaining facts in the sections "Discovered in BERLIN" and "Then and now".
If you enjoy writing and would like to join the editorial team, we look forward to your involvement in our nursing homes Am Kreuzberg.
Your Tasks
- Writing editorial articles for the "Spätlese"
- Researching topics in cooperation with the responsible staff of the nursing homes
- Photographing
- Collaborating in the editorial team
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
- Enjoy researching and writing editorial articles
- Previous journalistic experience (would be helpful)
- Empathy and interest in working with senior citizens
- Photographic skills
