About the volunteering opportunity
As Engagement Manager:in you are working at the heart of our association: Our Engagers. You can amplify the power of our more than 50 engaged people, so that we have a greater impact for people in Togo.
Your Tasks
What tasks are waiting for you?
Motivation: Promoting the motivation of our volunteers in close coordination with the team leads
Feedback: Strengthening the feedback culture in the association, e.g. through member surveys
Exchange: Organization of exchange with Togolese partners
Project management: Planning of association weekends in presence
Team building: Organization of online events such as game nights or, if resident in Trier or Berlin, face-to-face meetings with the committed members
What's needed
What should you bring to the table?
Sense of Responsibility: Willingness to take initiative and responsibility for the tasks in your position
People Person: You are good with people, find the right words & show empathy
Organizational skills: you can organize yourself & projects well
Languages: You speak German and preferably French (not a must)

What do we offer you?
Remote: Work from home whenever it suits you best
Flexibility: Support us depending on how much time you have at the moment. You should bring at least two hours per week.
Teamwork: You are an integral part of our Human Resource Management Team
Develop yourself further: Through active exchange, support and team trainings as well as coaching for example through our Startsocial scholarship, team-internal training measures and external offers
Make a difference: Support the engaged in Germany and Togo to unleash their potential

Woé zon loo e.V. is a non-profit association that implements social projects in Kpalimé, Togo together with the Togolese NGO International Volontaire en Action (IVA). In doing so, we are committed to a variety of projects for children and young people, especially for fair educational opportunities as well as access to quality health care.
