About the volunteering opportunity
Our community shelter, together with the neighborhood meeting place in the Kiez, would like to support this initiative and offer our residents from other countries a framework for learning and learning German.
Your Tasks
- Initiative and openness to enter into conversation with the participants
- Cooperation and consultation with the main staff
- Own thoughts about topics and simple applicable methods are of course very welcome
- Have fun. Just have fun talking, getting in touch with new and different people :-D
What's needed
- Know German of course: mother tongue or good high level - C1
- Enjoy conversation, contact with people
- Willingness to engage in new conversations, people and situations.
Time required
The language café always takes place on Thursdays. From 1 to 3 pm. .)
Important notice
The project is run by full-time staff.
Our language café is brand new :-D, running since January 2023 and is currently in development. It is exciting to see how it develops and of course offers the possibility to use own and new ideas.
Where?
GU Gehrenseestraße
Since 25.06.2016, Albatros gGmbH has been operating the community accommodation for refugees. The GU Gehrenseestr. with a capacity for 200 people almost exclusively accommodates families from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan.
