About the volunteering opportunity
We are looking for volunteers (from 16 years) who can answer senior citizens questions about their smartphones.
- Are you open and willing to help?
- Do you like getting to know other young people?
- You like to explain things to others?
- You like to spend time with seniors?
- Are you a bit familiar with various apps and applications on your smartphone?
Then you are exactly right with us!
Your Tasks
Together with other volunteers, you will support seniors in using their smartphones/tablets and answer their questions.
What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
You should
- have basic knowledge about apps and applications on smartphone
- be open and communicative
- enjoy explaining and working with seniors
Time required
Regularly
Approx. 1 hour per month.
On weekdays, during the day
Help older people discover the digital world!
You are between 16 and 30 years old? During youngcaritas Munich's smartphone consultation hours, you can show older people how to use smartphones, tablets, etc. Don't be afraid of questions or problems - together we'll explain WhatsApp, WiFi and more. Join us and become a technology hero for the generations!

Once a month we are in the Alten- und Servicezentrum Perlach with the smartphone consultation hour.

At youngcaritas Munich, you can work together with other young volunteers on social projects in Munich. It doesn't matter whether you get involved regularly or occasionally!
