Become a fundraiser for human rights

We are looking for more fundraisers for our young and cool lightup family.

Do you enjoy seeing our donation account fill up so that we can start new projects and campaigns? Then support us in the development and implementation of fundraising campaigns and help us to find suitable sources of funding (foundations, major donors, public funding)! Examples of previously funded campaigns and projects can be found here.

Your Tasks

• You will be involved in the development and implementation of fundraising campaigns.
• You will research potential sources of funding (foundations, major donors, public funding) and help prepare applications and donor letters.
• You will gather information about suitable fundraising tools and help to develop and use your own tools.
• You will analyze the success of fundraising activities.
• You will work on marketing and on building, maintaining and developing donor relationships.

Hey, we are lightup

As a youth organization, we shed light on the reality of human trafficking, labor and sexual exploitation in order to reduce demand and prevent young people from becoming victims of exploitation themselves through prevention work. 

In doing so, we rely on the young generation: we believe that the attitude, voice and actions of young people are enormously important when it comes to ending abuses like human trafficking and exploitation.  That's why we encourage and empower  young people to become active for change and give them a platform to use their ideas, talents and skills to fight against exploitation and for freedom. 

lightup raises awareness and informs through workshops and social media, engages in public and political debates, and empowers young people to start local teams, events, and creative projects.

 As an organization, we have no religious or party political affiliation.
