About the volunteering opportunity
You go on vacation with children and teenagers. In the mountains or at the sea, on a canoe trip or mountain biking: thanks to you and your team, the kids are never bored!
Your Tasks
- you are the main contact person for up to 6 children
- you offer activities that are fun for you: e.g. treasure hunt, party, soccer tournament, handicraft activities
What's needed
- you like to travel at home and abroad
- you like to prepare exciting vacations for children and teenagers
- you have an extended certificate of good conduct
- you are courageous and accept pedagogical challenges
Time required
We offer vacation camps for children and teenagers in all seasons. Our vacation camps take place whenever there are school holidays (Easter, summer, autumn, New Year's Eve, ski camps in January). As a supervisor, you will spend one to two weeks in Germany and other European countries, with full board and lodging.
Important notice
- You will be well prepared for your assignment and work with 5-8 young adults
- You will receive an allowance of 20€ per night, from the second trip 30€ and should you become a camp leader 50€ per night
Location
This project is location independent.
Wildfang e.V.
Wildfang organizes holiday trips for foster and adopted children. In addition, our volunteers also look after foster children at home. The regional focus of our association is Berlin and North Rhine-Westphalia, but carers from other (federal) states are also welcome. For our volunteer carers we organize regular training and reflection sessions in Berlin.
