About the volunteering opportunity
Asa “ ” team member at Wildfang, you’ll accompany children and teens on unforgettable summer camps. Together with your team, you’ll organize exciting activities, serve as a point of contact for the participants, and create a place where kids can make new friends, build self-confidence, and simply have a really great time.
In the process, you’ll gain valuable experience in working with children and teens, further develop your teamwork and leadership skills, and become part of a community that lasts far beyond the camp week.

Your Tasks
- You will be the point of contact for up to 6 children and teens
- You’ll plan your own workshops and outings that you enjoy—such as treasure hunts, parties, soccer tournaments, arts and crafts activities, or a trip to the outdoor pool
- You’ll work as part of a team with other Wildfänger*innen

What's needed
For this volunteering opportunity, advanced German skills are required.
- you like to travel at home and abroad

- you have an extended certificate of good conduct

We offer vacation camps for children and teenagers in all seasons. Our vacation camps take place whenever there are school holidays (Easter, summer, autumn, New Year's Eve, ski camps in January). As a supervisor, you will spend one to two weeks in Germany and other European countries, with full board and lodging.
Important notice
- You will be well prepared for your assignment and work with 5-8 young adults
- You will receive an allowance of 20€ per night, from the second trip 30€ and should you become a camp leader 50€ per night

Wildfang e.V.
Wildfang organizes holiday trips for foster and adopted children. In addition, our volunteers also look after foster children at home. The regional focus of our association is Berlin and North Rhine-Westphalia, but carers from other (federal) states are also welcome. For our volunteer carers we organize regular training and reflection sessions in Berlin.
