The Tabula e.V. association has set itself the goal of offering children and young people in Wolfsburg support throughout their educational path. Our focus is primarily on children and young people who, due to their social situation, have fewer educational experiences. These young people should also experience education in a variety of ways by providing them with an educational table - a "tabula" (Latin). Different actors take on the task of covering the education table with various offers.

Education is multifaceted. Education takes place in the classroom, but also in numerous other school and out-of-school places. Education takes place where people meet, where exchange takes place, where interests are aroused, where people play, research, discover and experiment. Tabula e.V. creates access to these places, especially for educationally disadvantaged children and young people, while bringing people of different ages together. With this educational initiative, the association wants to contribute to the reduction of socially conditioned unequal educational opportunities and the associated consequences for the individual and society.

You will provide individual support to children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds directly on site at school or daycare centers. As a mentor, you should enjoy your voluntary work and the children and young people should find a mentor in you who understands and supports them. The number of hours, meetings, etc. can be arranged individually. With just one hour a week, you can work with us to combat inequality of opportunity and offer a wide range of individual educational opportunities.
