Voluntary Free Year (FFJ)

First and foremost, like to see the FFJ as a voluntary, solidary support for yourself (as a participating person) and others within a group (e.g. solidary sharing of money in shared economy, collaborative processes within the group, learning about exchange-logic-free and hierarchy-critical self-organization with others beyond work, property and exploitation).

Furthermore, you can participate in exchange logic-free, hierarchy-critical projects on site and beyond (e.g. exchange logic-free participatory kiosk, organic-vegan SoLaWi, organizing an open project house,...). You are not forced to do anything. However, you can volunteer in all areas. Here are a few examples:

- Saving food
- Accompany group processes in a self-organized way (concrete organization as well as emotional exchange)
- exchange logic free financing of projects (existing and possibly own)
- Participation in organic-vegan, solidarity agriculture
- sustainable events and food production in vegen participatory station kiosk
- ...

Minimum age is at best 18 years at the latest for the start in the middle of August.

Together with other FFJ participants, you will further educate yourself in social, political and ecological topics from 14.08.2023 - 30.04.2024 at the FFJ and thus learn more about yourself and your environment. In addition to theoretical impulses, you can volunteer in social projects in a very practical way and live new self-understandings. In 2023, an FFJ will take place in Salzderhelden (Lower Saxony) and in Wurzen (Saxony). A place where people try to live their own utopias in the here and now. Together in a group with other volunteers, you can find out during the FFJ there how you might be politically active in a self-determined way to help shape and create perspectives for a sustainable society.
