About the volunteering opportunity
Become an encourager!
We are happy if you would like to volunteer with us and be part of this new project.
We want to encourage refugees to discover and contribute their own strengths, skills and talents. Within the project, we develop, together with the target group, multi-layered educational, recreational and cultural offers, which are aimed at interested people with a migration or refugee background. In this way, we support social participation and promote their self-determination and competence to act.
The project "Empowerment: integration through empowerment and self-determination" is a project of the association Hamburger mit Herz e.V. and is funded by the Postcode Lottery.

Your Tasks
As an encourager you support our intercultural team. There are many small and larger tasks. For example, you can become a participant in a cooking evening - kitchen duty includedÂ
Can you imagine organizing a creative afternoon? - Bring your friends with you. Maybe you can imagine supporting a media literacy workshop or a computer class? Or is yoga your thing?
Do you already have a concrete idea of how you want to get involved? You don't even need one yet... Feel free to contact us and let's talk about this great project together.
As an encourager, you are an important part of our team. Without you it does not work. And we courage-makers are also fun-makers. We want to have a good time together, grow together and celebrate successes

How much time do you actually need to invest? We don't have a plan for that. You only want to commit once, for example for an afternoon or an evening? That's perfectly fine.
