About the volunteering opportunity
This year we are looking forward to the 20th edition of the Summer Festival of Cultures: from Thursday, 11th of July to Tuesday, 16th of July 2023 the largest intercultural festival in southern Germany will take place in the heart of the state capital Stuttgart! And the best part: The Summer Festival of Cultures will be even more inclusive this year!
Your Tasks
Together with the tour operator tour de sens, which offers joint trips for people with and without visual impairment, we would like to make it easier for visually impaired guests to visit the festival this year. Therefore we are looking for you as a volunteer companion. You support a visually impaired visitor for two hours with the orientation on the festival site and exchange with him/her about your different perceptions.
What's needed
You have never done something like this before? No problem! On July 10th, 2023, there will be a short introduction by tour de sens in front of Stuttgart City Hall.
Time required
Tuesday, July 11th, 2023: 6 to 8 p.m. & 8 to 10 p.m.
Saturday, July 15th, 2023: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. &. 8:30 to 10:30 p.m.
