About the volunteering opportunity

Our animal welfare association works with the largest animal shelter in Croatia, which is home to over 600 dogs. The shelter also takes care of street dogs, but even more importantly, it works with the public order office to rescue dogs from abusive situations. One of our tasks as a German partner organization is to place dogs in forever families. Facebook is one of the platforms we use successfully for this. To do this, we have to continuously expand our network on Facebook in order to be able to introduce our dogs to a large target group of potential adopters.

Your Tasks

Your task would be to develop our network on Facebook. This means, for example:

- Being active in Facebook groups where our target groups are located (e.g. 'Schäferhundfreunde' or similar)
- Making contact with influencers who help communicate certain causes (e.g. an annual appeal for food donations)

Are you a networker and are you creative when it comes to making and maintaining contacts? Then get in touch with us. We look forward to meeting you!

Adoptadog e.V.

We are a small 2017 founded and registered animal welfare association with the focus to place dogs from a shelter in Croatia to Germany.

We work together with the Shelter Prijatelji in Cakovec, Croatia and have set ourselves the goal to find a nice home for as many dogs as possible and to make their lives worth living again. At the moment we have about 500 dogs on site. You can find more information about us on Facebook or Instagram or on our website.
