About the volunteering opportunity
With the language sponsorships online, we would like to bring people together.
On the one hand, people who would like to get involved, but are very busy and would like to do this from the comfort of their own home.
On the other hand, people who have their first knowledge of German and would like to practice and deepen it
and would like to practice and deepen them.
Your Tasks
Step 1: Registration
- Write a mail to sprachpatenschaft@caritas-oberberg.de or a message here on vostel.de
- Name the times when you can come, for example: Thursdays, 7 p.m
- State your role: German speaker
With your registration you agree that we pass on your name and your
e-mail address to the person assigned to you.
Step 2: Assignment
- You will be assigned to another person.
- You will receive information about when your first meeting is.
- You will receive a link to Jitsi Meet.
- Jitsi Meet is a video conferencing platform that is free and you don't have to download a program to use it. You just have to open the link on your smartphone or PC.
Step 3: Get started!
- Meet online and talk to each other!
