Volunteers for application and funding

Our association is financed by donations and increasingly by funding programs from the public sector and private or public foundations. In order to be able to use such funds for the association, we have to identify appropriate organizations and programs, establish contact and write grant applications.

To strengthen our financing team, we are looking for people who can help us with the following tasks:

• Search for appropriate funding opportunities for the association
  (e.g. public funding programs, foundations, competitions, etc.)

• Reviewing program and competition guidelines to select appropriate funding programs

• Selection of programs that are thematically suitable for the association

• Participation in the application process, e.g. preparation of application texts, effort estimates, preparation of financial plans, processing of funding requests in the team of active persons, etc.

• Maintaining internet portals of corresponding funding organizations for our association, e.g. setting up association accounts, registration, compiling information material about the association, etc.

You can choose between one or more activities.

• If possible, experience in submitting applications for funding calls or in preparing funding plans

• Enthusiasm (and basic understanding) for politics and our free, democratic system

• Interest in the topic of prevention of hate and violence against local politicians

• Team spirit, communication skills and enjoyment in dealing with people

• Experience with digital applications such as Zoom, Google Drive, etc.

• Basic technical equipment: PC/notebook with camera and microphone

• German language skills level B2 or higher

Flexible scope: we desire a long-term commitment and take into account that availabilities may change.

Since we mainly work together digitally, a notebook/PC with working camera and microphone is a mandatory requirement
